Cable car down Yellow Mountain

Our hike down Yellow Mountain is finished. We’re taking the same cable car back down to the shuttle bus station. On the way, we took a few more photos of mountains and mist, cliffs and trees.

I still feel like I’m in a Chinese painting. So scenic! (Mom’s photo.)
I wish it were a little less rainy, though.
But we did get some photos despite the rain!
Mysterious mist.
Down we go!
Cable car tower. (Siqi’s photo.)
Trees on the ridge… and clouds below us!
Trees.
Misty mountains. (Siqi’s photo.)
Rainwater in a stream.
Rocky ridge! (Siqi’s photo.)
Rocky peaks on the rocky ridge! (Siqi’s photo.)
Looks like a Buddha meditating.
Other gondolas.
The ride is almost over.
Back on the ground.
Same view, different camera. (Siqi’s photo.)
Zooooooomed in! (Siqi’s photo.)
Shifting clouds. (Siqi’s photo.)
Shopping! I bought a cloud pin and a book of photos. We sat down and ate some of the snacks we were carrying in lieu of lunch. Also, a student asked if she could have her photo taken with my parents; they agreed.
One of these buses took us back to the entrance of the park. Goodbye, Yellow Mountain!
